The York Ice Trail starts this weekend, Saturday 2nd February 10am – 6pm.

It’s the biggest outdoor ice trail in Britain with 50 frozen sculptures to be seen across the city, apparently 35,000 people visited in 2017!

Myths and Legends is the theme this year.

If you’re venturing into town and can handle the crowds (or can’t!) pop into one of our listed premises for a rest of the mind and legs and unwind with a drink and bite to eat.

We recommend the following sculptures nearest to these great Craft Savvy premises:

Jordan’s Pegasus – Kennedy’s
Niffler – Valhalla & The Duke of York
UFO – Victor J’s
Cheshire Cat – 4 Swings
Unicorn – Walmgate Ale House and The Chopping Block
Viking Helmet – Micklegate Social
Millennium Falcon – The Whippet Inn
Ships Wheel – Circles

A download of the ice trail map can be found here.

Enjoy!
